It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas

The song, "It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas" always makes me laugh, because out here in Okinawa, it really doesn't  start to look like Christmas at all.  Unless you count the Peppermint Mocha Latte that they start serving at our local Japanese Starbucks?  The weather does turn a little chillier, but it's more like "boots and a light sweater" weather, rather than "boots and a parka" weather.  Who am I kidding?  We are so spoiled now, that we're calling 60 degrees chilly!  Despite being far from home, the Christmas season has officially taken over the Muscari apartment:)  Here are a few of my favorite things about this time of year:

Yummy Italian soup

My evergreen scented candle, since our tree only smells like plastic

Decorating while watching Christmas Vacation - the part with the squirrel will never get old!

Seeing our ornament collection grow year by year - all of these were gifts from people we love

Gifts for our amazing friends

Our bone china Okinawa ornament for 2012

Practicing with my camera!

Matt + Cortnie

Those last ones were just for fun:)  'Till next time!
